Inquiries and client services

Contacting us or submitting an inquiry does not create a client relationship, reserve services, or form a contract for a project. Project scope, fees, schedules, deliverables, usage rights, confidentiality, cancellations, and other service terms are governed by a separate written agreement. If a signed client agreement conflicts with these website terms on a matter relating to that project, the client agreement controls.

Intellectual property

Website content, including text, photographs, films, graphics, designs, logos, and code, is owned by DTE Studio, our clients, or other rights holders and is protected by intellectual property laws. Client names, trademarks, and portfolio materials remain the property of their respective owners.

You may browse the website and make temporary copies necessary for normal viewing. You may also share links to publicly available pages. Except as permitted by law or with the relevant rights holder's written permission, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, publish, or otherwise exploit website content, remove ownership notices, or use any name, logo, image, or creative work in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation. Displaying work in our portfolio does not grant a license to reuse it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply to you, disputes concerning these website terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. Any separate client agreement may provide different terms for project disputes.

General terms

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. These terms govern website use and do not modify a separate signed agreement unless that agreement expressly provides otherwise.
